My colony died basically because my Dupes completely ignored my Water Filtration unit to fill it with Sand even at P9. I even set everybody to Delivery and used Red Alert mode and they would transfer Sand to Bio Cleaners, but not even acknowledge the Water Filter. I have a Storage Locker filled to the max with Sand a few tiles away and even that doesn't work. I originally had the Water Filter placed in the corridor just above the water reservoir and they would bypass it.
Ignore the fact that there's no power. This is at the point where I had to give up since I couldn't convert Contaminated Water.
