I thought it was just a one-off thing and dismissed it, but now the effing pip has made a second thimble reed seed disappear in the exact same way.
Here's the first time I noticed it. You see the pip sitting guiltily in a corner, and the thimble reed seed isn't showing up when mousing over nor in the inventory.
I logged in and out, and the thimble reed seed was permanently lost to the ether.
Here's the second time. One of the thimble reed seeds are showing up, the other is in a bugged invisible stage.
I suspect the pip can't plant on flooded tiles.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
