Still running in steam list after exiting

I tried to reproduce this but couldn't. Did you exit the game through the main menu or by pressing ALT+F4? Could you also please upload your dxdiag?

Wanted to say I'm also having this issue. I played for about 2 hours and when I finished the game, and closed it from the main menu, it remains running on steam, cannot relaunch the game at that point, and have to force close steam from task manager. 

When I launch the game and close right away from the menu it's having the same issue. 

 

I tried both closing the process in the task manager and closing with Alt + F4 and its the same result each time, says running on steam for me.

The latest update seems to have solved this problem for me, game closes completely now and steam does not say its still running.

Hey everybody so I just purchased the game and i am having the same issues. i am running on the newest update on Win 10. 

I have this problem since the cosmic update, Windows 10. I have to shut down Steam in order to restart ONI.
