Steel melts at a higher temperature than it will freeze back to a solid from.

I only noticed this recently but steel will melt at 4400.3 degrees F to a liquid, but will only cool to a solid at 1982.9 degrees F.

I've been playing this for a while and have never realized this was a bug back in original ONI. I only recently noticed this while playing Spaced out since I believe petroleum engines were made to burn way hotter than in standard ONI (unless I'm remembering incorrectly?) and my steel wires were melting (no cooling setup yet).

Steps to Reproduce

Go into the ONI database and look at solid steel's melting point. See that its 4400.3 degrees F. Look at liquid steel and see that it's freezing point is 1982.9 degrees F.

User Feedback

I thought this was an intentional mechanic to be able to use liquid steel for high-temperature cooling or something like that?

And this was very handy, for example replacing natural volcano with metal refinery filled with liquid steel
