Steam Workshop mod instalation to redirected user folder reporting insuficent space

When ONI attempts to install/update mods while profile redirection is enabled the program reports insufficient disk space available. This can be worked around be deleting the mods folder and restarting ONI. The game will crash the first time but it seems to recreate the folders and work afterwords.

Steps to Reproduce
setup profile redirection on domain joined windows computer then install mod from steam.
Go to bugs

Has anyone had any luck with redirecting the mods folder on load up of ONI from Steam client, to a static location?
