steam turbine 'power wasted' calculation has changed

The calculation for steam turbine 'power wasted' has changed as a result of the latest update.

Attached is my save game. If you go to the colony summary screen and and look at the power wasted graph, you'll see the jump to 1000+kw. That was the point where the game updated to the latest version. I haven't made any changes to the power grid which could account for it.

Another user in the general discussion forum verified that they are observing the same behaviour with their steam turbines.

I'm not sure if this is a fresh bug or if you've fixed a long standing bug. If the latter, could you advise how the steam turbine wasted power calculation works so I can minimise it .. I don't like wasting power...

Steps to Reproduce

Open any save game with steam turbines that you have had since prior to the update. You'll observe the spike from the cycle after the cycle when you load the game, if you follow me.

You can look at my savegame attached above.

Open the colony cycle screen and scroll down to the power wasted graph. You'll see the massive spike on the right side of the graph

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

There is a steam turbine above the double hydra near the middle of the asteroid that has been running 100% for last five cycles.

At the time of saving there are no loads on the connected wires hence wated power.

Note graph shows jump of 1000kJ (Kilo joules) over the 600s cycle this is a power of 1.6KW  (energy/time=power)

There are also solar panels and a few uncontrolled steam turbines, e.g. on iron volcanoes and rocket silo. They will all waste power if the batteries ever get full.

The calculation of steam turbine's output power seems to be double or more when new cycle starts

Checking all previous cycles before the update, the steam turbines excess power was consistently less while nothing changed

It does appear the power wasted calculation is incorrect. I set up a single unconnected hydrogen generator as in attached picture.

Ran it for a cycle and looked at report. Wasted power should be 800W x 600s = 480Kj.

Report indicates 2400kj. 5 times proper value. Don't have an easy way to measure what is was before the update.

Most of your wasted power is due to the steam turbines on the gold volcano.

After the update these turbines are getting Engie's Tune- Up increasing the power output and hence the power wasted.

You could disallow tinker on the turbines.

They are disallowed at cycle 900+ where I am currently. The wasted energy is the same and it gets that way on autosaved cycle starts
