When exiting the game, it is still marked as "running" in Steam. In order to relaunch it, you have to exit Steam first.
Subnautica was plagued by that same bug during their development, so it just annoying...but if you could fix it, I would save 45 second of game time every day

1. Launch game 2. Exit game 3. Look at Steam Games list: Oxygen not included is still marked as "running"
