Spooky numerical action - Sensor value override/copy

JRup
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Linux Pending

Sensors can have their values copied from cache when canceling with right click. This may happen accidentally by checking the sensors' value, canceling and checking another sensor then canceling. See attached video:

But wait, there's more; it also works on liquid and gas valves:

Steps to Reproduce
  • Click on sensor A, set value. Hit enter. (Something different from what was originally configured works best.)
  • Click on value so that it highlights, then right click on it to cancel any action and exit sensor A's dialog. Left click on empty area also works here.
  • Click on sensor B, then click the numerical setting but don't edit it.
  • Right click out of the menu.
  • Note: For valves one must right click on the value when exiting valve B.

Normally, sensor B should not have any change in its stored value as right click was used to exit the input dialog.

The following is to humor an online recommendation made when commenting about this:

Observe the value from sensor B has changed from its original setting without directly editing it.
