Space scanner stuck after meteor storm.

  • Branch: Preview Branch Version: Linux Pending

Space scanners will no longer toggle automation after a meteor storm has ended. This creates an issue with automating bunker doors, for example.

Disabling mods had no effect.

Steps to Reproduce

Have meteor scanners sending red on clear sky. Wait for meteor storm - scanners will send green as they normally do.

Wait for storm to end.

Scanners will be stuck on green.

Setting scanner to a rocket and then back to meteor storms does not alleviate issue.

Unplugging the scanner and plugging it back in does not reset automation signal, still green. (I feel I've done this kind of procedure before, somewhere.)

Save and reload game. Automation signal will now send correct status.

User Feedback

Not sure if the fix is any good.

If I'm not completely mistaken, previously space scanners would drop to red state whenever they lost power.

As of 567678, they seem to get stuck in green state if they lose power during a meteor shower.

This is catastrophic for my current solar farm setup, which is intended as a fully self-sufficient power provider, relying exclusively on batteries and cutting power to all but one scanner to save energy while waiting out meteor storms.

(Edit: Saving and reloading does not help in this case, as evidenced by the fact that I'm seeing this new problem after reloading yesterday's savegame.)

Thanks for the reports! Would you be able to send your save c-lipka? I tried to reproduce the issue but haven't been able to yet unfortunately.
