Signal distributor/selector allow invalid build.

JRup
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Linux Fixed

Attempting to build on top of the signal selector/distributor cannot be done, however:

The signal distributor and the signal selector can be built on top of another building's existing automation port. Specifically, the toggle ports that control automation gates' behavior.

The signal distributor and selector will then immediately hijack the automation connection from said building. The building itself will show a missing automation wire on reload.

A mechanized airlock (not pictured) was also tested to verify the port type combinations. Behavior was the same.

This video shows how it's done:

Steps to Reproduce

Build a signal distributor/selector on top of another building's automation port. Signal selector/distributor's port must be either of the two toggle ports for this to work.
