If you left-click on a material block in the world, right-click and then left-click a different material block, the "information" section will show the properties of the previously selected material. The title and "status" section will show the properties of the actual material though.
The bug will continue if you select (left-click) a material, right click, select a different material, etc. It ends, if you left-click on a different or same material without right-clicking the time between.
Steps to Reproduce
Click on a material block in the world, right click to make the details window disappear, click on a different material block.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
