Since release, everything freezes about once per cycle or so at some random time for a few seconds. This is with the skewed asteroid and only 15 cycles in. I did have something like this at the beginning of the last beta with a classical start spaced out map, but it went away, probably in an intermediate patch. Seems the problem is back.
I would suspect this is a garbage collection issue. As I have really fast hardware and plenty of cores and memory (AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, 64GB), I do not think it is a performance issue on my side.
Update: I just noticed that this did regularly happen mid-day and that I accidentally had set the timelapse-resolution to max. I think that was it, so not a bug after all.
