The menu screen is entirely covered by pink and green lines, the buttons are only barely visible through the jumble of color. They don't seem to be a grid, just random lines that appear on the screen. When I finally was able to hit 'new game' it showed me my duplicants and their stats for only a split second, their icons being comprised of pink and green lines similar to the title screen, save for the fact that the pattern changed, presumably following the duplicants animation. But after the moment where I could read their stats, which was only long enough for me to panic about the lines, it just showed their three names at the bottom of the screen and one other thing. I quit the program. When I booted it back up this morning the title screen was the same. Except when I clicked on the button that I had previously, it started the game, showing me my three duplicants in their little room. But the whole screen was covered in little black lines that made it impossible to see anything, along with a similar pink line and green line that went most of the way across the screen.
Please fix this issue soon. I was very excited to play this game as I have had wonderful experiences with Don't Starve in the past, and I watched a few videos of the game on youtube and loved its charming graphics and playstyle. If it's not fixed soon, I'm going to have to ask for my money back from Steam, I don't want to have to do that, but this issue makes the game completely unplayable.
All I did was boot up the game. I have no gameplay time and simply opened the program to find this.
