Scalding from hot environment prevents duplicants from rescuing their incapacitated friends and from bashing tiles when stressed and destructive.

This means that a duplicant who becomes downed when in a scalding environment is doomed to die unless one with suit can be brought quickly and that destructive dupes can easily become downed in a scalding environment.
