Seeds changed when Spaced Out was released due to some code related changes at the time.

You can access the pre-Spaced Out version using the beta code "veryoldupdate" (right click the game -> properties -> betas) and try generating it but note that it's unsupported.

But generated asteroid is still different to that originally generated.

Oh I forgot, you'll need to uninstall your DLCs (right click the game in Steam -> Properties -> DLC, uncheck Spaced Out!) to access the base game build CS-469300 on this branch. This was at a time where we shipped separate binaries if you had Spaced Out! installed. No guarantee that this is what you're looking for as it's unsupported.

Uninstalling the DLC's and using 'veryoldupdate' uses build CS-469300, which works to recreate games originally created in the range 10 Feb 2020 to 9 June 2021. However, although not a problem for me, plant and critter locations are changed.
It doesn't work for games I originally created in the range 24 Jan 2020 to 1 Feb 2020. These are my first games, and the ones I wanted to re-play.
Also, build CS-469300 and the current build (USS-663500-V) don't work for a game I originally created on 30 Sept 2021.
The current build (USS-663500-S) works (with correct plant and critter locations) to recreate games I originally created using the Spaced Out DLC on or after 23 Dec 2021.
