Rotated buffer gates do not output on the correct tile

I built a pressure sensor and connected it to each end of a rotated BUFFER and it is operating properly. In your example you have the inputs and outputs stacked, and strange things happen when you do that and that could be the bug you are trying to describe. Personally I think they need to do the same with automation as they did with plumbing, and prevent players from overlapping inputs and outputs.

I built a buffer on top of the sensor originally and the sensor stopped working entirely; the sensor said active, but all wires connected to it were red and the BUFFER was gone.
