Ok, in a nutshell, astronauts who have returned will have the "Full Bladder" debuff, and, despite using the bathroom, will continue to have the debuff (along with its Stress-accelerating consequences) until the game is restarted. It will not matter how many cycles pass, or how many times they use the facilities, they will retain the debuff. Now, restarting the game is all fine and dandy, but my computer is a dinosaur, and at the stage of the game I am playing (despite using almost every trick in the book to help performance) it's an absolute SLOG to do that every time I want to gather space materials.
Additional information: This bug only seems occur when duplicants have been released from their rockets after staying inside of them for more than one space trip consecutively. In addition to that, when they finally exit (with the aforementioned 'forever' bladder), they will run right past the atmosuit checkpoint without removing their suit. I am also incapable of making them unequip the suit until the game has been restarted, and sometimes when the restart has finished, the suit will already be unequipped and lying at their feet. Curiously, they also will equip ANOTHER suit if prompted to do so, as you can see from the duplicant in the screenshot. I CAN make them remove the second suit, but the first will remain equipped with no option available for removal. It's as if the game 'forgot' they had a suit on.
1. Send duplicant on space mission
2. Get backed up because of X or Y universe-ending catastrophe occurring in your base, and, miss the notification of their return (so they remain assigned/in their rocket).
3. Your slick, albeit garbage, automation ships them right back into space once the rocket has finished refueling.
4. Notice this about 20 seconds too late.
5. Repeat #2-4 several times (optional)
6. Finally catch them landing and release them from their hellscape.
7. ...
8. Profit. (or the opposite of profit)
