public_previous_update branch has a bad version pushed to it as of sweet dreams update, it loads up with a grey UI box locked to the bottom left corner of the screen that actively blocks interaction and prevents some of the main menu from being accessible, and a large majority of sub menus.
Additionally, it crashes with the existing mods it should be compatible with, reliably, which defeats the purpose of this branch existing.
Looks like a bad version of the fast friends update was pushed here?

problem did not exist in the actual last good version I played just 16 hours ago

Steps to Reproduce

select public_previous_update branch
load the game
oops! either it crashes loading the mods, even if no mods are enabled, or you get to the main menu and funnily enough you cant click the quit button, oh dear...
(other UI elements are obviously not intractable within this grey box of course)

Is this the image the game is supposed to load in Spaced Out too?

In Spaced Out it loads like this:

(Btw clicking "ESC" will close that black box in Spaced Out and everything works fine. Same way you can close it for Base Game without clicking any of the options)
