Plants eaten mid-harvest reset growth and output no products

Red Shark
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Fixed

It is possible for a critter to eat a plant that a duplicant is mid-harvest. In this case, the critter gets to eat the growth, but the harvest action continues, resulting in the growth resetting to 0%, but with no products being produced by the harvest action.

I would expect the harvest action to be aborted, or perhaps a proportional amount of plant product to be generated, rather than losing everything for no output.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Load the attached save
  2. Mark the waterweed to the right of the printing pod for harvest
  3. Watch Kai valiantly attempt to harvest the waterweed as the blowter simultaneously eats it.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

This is not fixed.

Link to a video (because apparently mp4 files are not "videos with supported format and MIME type"):

I've attached the video here anyway, not sure if it does anything or if it can be downloaded.

With further testing I can say that duplicants attempt to harvest the Waterweed even after interruptions (with 'Move To' command). They just go back to it after other errands, or another dupe tries to harvest the plant, and it still drops nothing.
