ONI stuck on Klei logo on Mac M4 (Epic)

Hi,

 

I’m trying to launch Oxygen Not Included on my MacBook Air M4 via Epic Games, but the game gets stuck on the Klei logo. The logo appears but the animation is frozen and the game never proceeds.

 

Epic shows the game as Running, but nothing else happens.

 

Important detail:

No log files are generated. The folder:

~/Library/Logs/Klei/Oxygen Not Included

does not exist, and there is no Player.log.

Specs:

MacBook Air M4

macOS 15.7.4

Epic Games 19.2.1 (0.0.4)

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

If you're seeing the Klei logo the game should be creating a Player.log file somewhere on your computer. That should be the correct location but it might be elsewhere.

The issue sounds like Rosetta isn't configured for Epic or the game like in this bug report. If you enable it on both Epic and the game's executables it should fix the issue.

I just enabled rosetta from epic games launcher and it worked finally. Thanks a lot for your help.
