Solid methane seems to have a melting point of -161.5C according to the ingame encyclopedia. Solid methane also melts at -161.5C and immediately vaporizes. However liquification and solidifcation points are -161.5C and -182.6C respectively.

Steps to Reproduce
Methane frozen below its freezing point below -183.6C. On reheating instantly vapourizes at above -161.5C. Entries in the help says liquid methane transitions from liquid to solid at -182.6C, methane gas to liquid at -161.5C. Solid methane entry says melts at -161.5C
