As the title says, they don't display as a metal on materials overlay, only the gas/liquid in them get's colored when on all/gas.
Would be helpful to track down those oddball mesh/airflow tiles made out of the wrong metal.
Steps to Reproduce
Press F4 for materials overlay. Select metal filter. See them not highlighted.
