Memory leak

I noticed stutter issues and found the ONI process had grown to 25GB process size, of 32GB on this computer. Save + reload had no effect. After an ONI restart memory was back down to 7GB and then started to increase again. 

This is with a Spaced-Out map with all DLCs, bionic dupes and no mods. 

Build is U54-652372-SCR

This may or may not depend on the map. The map save I observed this with is attached. I had it running for several days when I noticed.

That is something I will not test, too much lost gameplay. But it is a possibility. 

Unity has a defect with its garbage collector related to saving which gives an appearance of a memory leak. As that isn’t actionable on Klei’s side, it’d be good info if there was a leak without saving

Well, it seems to take 2-3 days to happen. It does not seem to be a slow creep though, it seems it blows up at some time. 

Hmm. I currently have an auto-save every 5 cycles. Maybe I can check whether it happens slower or faster with less or more saves per time.

And now it happened while the game was paused (i.e. no saves done) for about 7 hours. Seems to not be related to saves, after all.
