Loading Screen

Hello. So,after the recent updates of the game I have an issue whenever I startup a new game or even sometimes when I load up an existing one.It starts loading the resources in the loading screen and after a while it gets stuck at the "Success" message. While I can hear the music in the background,as well as the sounds of when you create a duplicant, the screen won't change. It occurs very often lately making the game unplayable. My PC specs can run the game fine as far as I'm aware.

Edit: So after further testing, when creating new game saves I noticed that the game has about a 90% to freeze whenever I choose the "Standard Game" option. If I stick to the "Custom Game" setting the issue seems to have a lower chance to occur, but nevertheless still can since it has happened in the past.

Edit 2: So apparently now I can't even load up my previous save file since the game will keep on crashing and that's a bummer.I could upload the crash file but most of it seems to be encrypted,so not sure if it will help at all.

User Feedback

Hello. From the log you've posted there seems to be some problem with Direct3D starting up. Since the game used to run for you, my best guess is that something in Windows has updated and you should try updating the drivers for your graphics card.

I'd be curious to know if that fixes it for you but unfortunately there's not enough information to know what the root cause of the problem is.

Drivers are all up to date, was the first thing to check after the issue started to occur.I have already tested everything on the Klei page that could fix up the issue with no success.
