liquid filter not working

Like title says. Liquid filters are not filtering the intended liquids. In this case polluted water from a water/polluted water mix. Nothing else. I've also had the same problem filtering petroleum out of a crude oil/petroleum mix.

And I've doubled, tripled, infinite checked every aspect to make sure my setup was done properly.

Power: check. Circuit barely used, like 480 watts.

Pipes: check . They go to a liquid vent. No obstructions. No missing pipes.

Filter settings: check. Set to filter polluted water.

And what is even more funny at the moment is that I have 2 setups and both are bugging differently. Both systems are a little backed up as they are connected to carbon skimmers. Usually, no problem.

But now, one of the filters is massively letting polluted water through the #1 output (all liquids) and barely filtering polluted water to the set #2 output (set to polluted water), thus it keeps breaking my carbon skimmer. And the other one, lets good water through the #2 output (set to polluted water), thus its contaminating my polluted water reservoir with good water!!!

I mean this is ridiculous. Am I missing something? Anyone else having similar issues? Please help this is seriously impeding on my bases progress.

And like I mentioned, this also happened to me when separating petroleum an crude oil. It happened in one of my earlier games that I deleted. At the time I was just starting so I figured I did something wrong or didn't understand. But now I realize my setup was super basic and yet didn't work properly.

I had a small crude oil/petroleum reservoir (basically a pit, not the actual liquid reservoir you build from the base tab) where I dumped crude oil and petroleum mopped off floor through a bottle emptier. Setup was simple, Pump in the pit, filter #2 output set to petroleum. #1 output was going to a liquid reservoir, and #2 was going to another. yet a little later when i checked in on my two reservoirs, #1 had both petroleum and crude oil in it!

Please help. Please fix this. Unless I,m missing something, this is a major problem in a game about resource management.

Thank you for any help i can get.

Steps to Reproduce
Use liquid filter???

User Feedback

You´ve checked and checked, but you did not notice the filter output (yellow/orange) and the normal output (green) are bridged. You´ve set it up wrong, thats all.
