Launching rocket with mysterious hermit as pilot causes the game to crash

klaivu
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: OSX Fixed

Game crashes on launching the rocket, if the pilot is the mysterious hermit.

I trained another duplicant as a pilot, no crash.

I have several mods active, game does not uncheck them. Still crashes with all mods unchecked.

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I was unable to reproduce the crash with a save I created. Could you attach your save? Does it happen 100% of the time? It's possible that one of your mods resulted in a Duplicant getting into a bad state.

Here. This is the game some cycles after the initial crash, the mysterious hermit doesn't seem to be responsible. As you said, it could well be one of my mods. Now it crashes on save after about one cycle, or when the autosave would kick in at the start of the day. I can continue to play from this save without problems, but saving will crash the game. The error log is about the same as in the initial post.

Sorry for the confusion.

Saving causes crash in one cycle.sav

This is the save from the original post. Launching the rocket with the mysterious hermit inside will crash the game for me.

Changed Status to Known Issue

The issue occurs when saving the game while the mysterious hermit is stored inside the Command Module. I tested in Spaced Out rocketry not realizing I needed to test the base game. Thanks for the report and the save. If you avoid having them pilot a rocket until we fix this bug it shouldn't crash.
