Game starts and the background music plays, but It does not load the main menu. Everything was working fine prior to the last update.

This crash started happening to some people because of one of the latest Windows updates. It has to do with the game starting in an invalid resolution. Here's some info on how to fix it if you're using AMD or Nvidia cards but I think you might be using an interl card and I'm not sure how to go about fixing it in that case. Basically you want to try and disable GPU scaling.

I have intel graphics. I need to roll back to The Ranching mark 2 update and just play. I agree it does seem to be opening at the wrong resolution.
