A few things that seemed incorrect with the cutscene that triggers after getting the Colonize Asteroid imperative:
- A menu (in my case, the base menu) and the inspector window were visible and in the bottom left during the cutscene;
- The cursor had an active placer/blueprint underneath it (I was just about to place a tile, but I didn't click to actually build it);
- The text mentioned sending a duplicant to the temporal tear, even though I didn't (I assumed this was placeholder, but mention it in case it isn't);
- After leaving the cutscene, tooltips no longer appeared when hovering over anything (reloading the save fixed this).
