Note: Present in both QOL3 and Launch Preview
Brief Description:
Doors when quickly cycled in higher than melting point environments cannot melt and instead retain their heat and dump liquid metal as if they were melting.
Encountered Behavior:
- Closed doors will not melt (Thank you merciful devs), but do drop their metal prior to destruction
- Open doors do not interact with the thermal environment
- Doors melt if heated above their melting point then opened and remain open
Expected Behavior:
- Closed doors can melt and only drop liquid metal as they are destroyed
- Open doors can melt and interact thermally with environment

Steps to Reproduce
1. Build a mechanical airlock in an environment above its melting point 2. Automate the opening/closing cycle to only allow the doors to remain open briefly (1s buffer on 7.5s filter/not clock works well) 3. profit?
