The heat transfer between molten gold and diamond glass tiles quickly quits working or all together doesn’t work.
I have diamond tiles up against gold and copper geysers as a way of transferring heat away from the geyser.
The copper works just fine and builds up to the molten temperature of the copper but the gold is stopping and acting like they are not in contact.
Both are in a vacuum.

Have molten gold in contact with diamond tiles.
