Gofer ignoring priorities

My gofer just seems to prioritise sweep and delivery jobs based on what's nearest to him. He delivers before he sweeps, but a priority 2 sweep seems to take priority over a priority 3 sweep when the priority 3 sweep job is further away. They should not ignore priorities like this when doing their assigned job, because there is no way to manage this.

Steps to Reproduce
Take a look at Ari who is putting away things in storage which are lower priority than the sweep jobs at the top of the base.

I am getting something similar, with build OC-253205. Sometimes when I cancel the sweep and then re-apply it, a dupe will begin to sweep a few bits from the far-away (higher priority) pile again but they manage a few items and then revert back to sweeping the nearest stuff. This happens even when the nearer items are not assigned a "sweep" action.
