Gas Shutoff blocks and unblocks vent if activated rapidly

Reuz
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Pending

Having a gas reservoir, at the output is a gas shutoff activated by a clock sensor.

The output of the gas reservoir becomes blocked and unblocked rapidly causing empty spaces between the gas running through the vent.

However the gas shutoff is activated all the time, so the vent should not be blocked running through the activated gas shutoff.

See also the attached screenshot.

User Feedback

Another testing showed this behavior is caused due to two connected gas shutoff at the output of the reservoir (also applies for liquids).

Having two gas shutoffs at the same pipe for branching, one closed the other open causes the rapidly blocking and unblocking and having spaces in between the gas (or liquid) running the vent (pipe).

Only one gas shutoff does not cause the problem.

Its because of branch in piping, flow splits on 2 evenly, even if 1 of branches blocked. Standard behavior of piping system in game.
