Games Crashes Sporadically

Randomly while playing, the game will crash on me. I'm not doing anything in particular, it just completely closes without a dialog windows or error displayed.

Steps to Reproduce
All that stands out to me even remotely is I had the game on triple speed.

Same problem, everything was fine for awhile. Now I can't play for more than a few minutes without crash.

If I load my game and leave it paused it seems fine. I don't think there's a particular action or event causing it because if I save every minute or so I can progress despite the crashes (they just continue every few minutes randomly).
