Game will not start

Hi,

I purchased this game yesterday and unfortunately I'm unable to start the game. I've read any informations I could find but nothing did the trick to me and I couldn't find any solutions regarding the stacktrace in the output log attached below.

When I start the game all I get is a black screen. My graphics drivers and my OS is patched up to date.

Any hints will be truely appreciated

Steps to Reproduce
Starting the game using the "launch" button of steam
Go to bugs

The game is having trouble initializing the audio system. What are you using as speakers and do you have any third party software which might be affecting your audio devices?

Hi,

I'm using Alctec Lansing BXR1121 2.1 boxes, connected via headphone jack directly to the motherboard aswell as a Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless V2.0 connected via a wireless USB-Stick. The only third party software I'm aware of is Sonic Studio 3 from Asus (was included with my mainboard)

 

I just quit the Sonic Studio 3 application (rightclick -> exit) and now I'm able to get to the main menu. I think this did the trick ...
