Game pans over to the right and you cannot get back

When I start a new game the screen automatically pans over to the far right and I cannot pan back to my dupes 

Steps to Reproduce
Start a new game
Go to bugs

Do you have a game pad plugged in? I haven't tried it with ONI but I've noticed that can happen with other games (X-COM 2) simply due to having a joystick plugged in.
