game fails to launch on opening from shortcut or launching from steam. issue persist after restarting windows.

Steps to Reproduce

1. attempt to start the game with a desktop shortcut or from the stream library on a windows machine
game closes on loading screen

Try adding "-force-glcore" to the Launch Options in Steam (right click Oxygen Not Included -> Properties) and see if that fixes the problem.

When was the last time you were able to run the game? I noticed you indicated this bug is on the Preview Branch, does this mean you are trying to launch Spaced Out? 

Could you please attach your Player.log file. It might not contain relevant information since this is crashing before the main menu appears but wouldn't hurt to take a look at.
