When attempting to launch the game it says it failed to launched. These are the files that it directed me to

All I did was hit play in Steam's library. It wouldn't launch

This issue has been cropping up a lot recently but it seems like a simple reboot of the computer tends to fix it. I'm guessing a recent Windows Update did something strange but I'm not actually certain.

Give the reboot a try.
