The game is loading. It takes 30-60 seconds and the game freezes and then you have to close the freezing game. I did the necessary work in the troubleshooting instructions and it didn't help. This also sometimes happens when starting a new game when choosing the first three colonists.

It's possible your GPU doesn't have enough memory, try enabling Low Resolution Textures in the graphic options and let me know if it still happens.
