Fluids added to building do not normalize temperature with existing contents

Coolthulhu
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Steam Known Issue

When a given fluid is re-added to a building, it only increases mass of the stored fluid. The temperature is not normalized.

The stored liquid will then normalize its temperature with environment, meaning that if the pipe is abyssalite, eventually the temperature of input will no longer matter.

This might not affect all buildings, but it reproduces reliably with hydroponic farm. It also seems to affect at least some producers, notably oil well (the first batch of natural gas is very hot).

Steps to Reproduce
1. Build hydroponic farm tile 2. Put bristle berry seed in it and provide adequate growing conditions 3. Put some cold water in the farm tile 4. Let the farm tile run nearly dry (but not so much that it has no water in it) 5. Feed the farm tile very hot water through an abyssalite pipe The result will be a farm tile full of cold water.
