Flashing background and game crashes on Mac

Also experiencing this issue. I started a new game after a few months off. The background flashes constantly between solid and transparent, and I can see the open space image. Eventually, the whole screen will turn black, except for the UI elements. Makes the game near unplayable. 

I am also on Mac. 

Same here. I haven't played in a couple of months, got the updates and started a new game.

I haven't even made it past cycle 1 as it's unbearable to play/look at with the glitch.

I'm on Imac.

This issue has been there for over a month now. (for me).

I'm having this problem as well. A lot of people on the steam community. The flashing between the yellow background and the space background. Makes it unplayable cause I can't focus on my colony creations. I've waited for updates to see if it get's fixed and so far nothing...

Hi, if you're experiencing this behaviour please post your output log after running the game and seeing it happen.
