Farming station is broken again (Spaced Out)[solved]

I've met all requirements: dupe skill, a properly sized room, enough material, actual plants. This is a recurring bug that's existed for easily over 2 years, I'm surprised to see it in the DLC. This bug is also not related to my mods, I've tested this with them disabled.

Edit: never saw the change that stopped mealwood from being fertilized

You forgot one fact.
Mealwood Plants cannot be fertilized by farmers with a Farm Station.
Replace plants to another type.
