Experiment 52B does not count as a decor item for rooms

Same as printing pod and other items/critters that show the "fancy decor item" tag but they are not considered "fancy decor item" for room requirements
 

 

Those make sense, as they aren't decor items (You need both Fancy Decor Item and Decor Item to form a Great Hall). The tree curiously is a decor item but is not considered one for rooms

Shine bugs and printing pod don't fulfill room requirements either, was my point

 

Strangely enough, they removed the decor item tag.

Update: Experiment 52B is now a Decor Building (with Fancy Decor Item/Decor Items now defunct). However, it still can't be used to make Great Halls.
