Entire pacu ranch starved to death with feeders having still having seeds in.

It appears pacu sometimes decide to starve together. (ba-dum-tss)
Google tells me it's something related to critter feeders.
I say those pacu wanted different fate for their kind.
---
I would suspect some mismatch with the numbers pacu expect to eat and the number of (things) available.
As in, 7.5kg algae vs 1kg seeds.
Or maybe it didn't like me setting first 10, then 50 then 100 on the feeder, then stuffing each with seeds and forgetting about it.
Feeders still had those 10-15 seeds in them after I checked.
After I've added seeds back up to 100, the old fish still living in overflow tile ate once and then went back to starving.
Even new pacu are "looking for food" after I've restocked feeders and scooped newborn fish from the overflow tile.
---
I've been mostly messing with (Spaced Out) asteroid `3 (Radioactino) at the time, vs original asteroid having fishes, so maybe it could also have something to do with switching asteroid view?

Anyway, I just leave it here.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Make a 4x4 fish tank for 2 normal pacu;
2) Add a feeder on top;
3) Fill feeder with mealwood seeds x10;
3.1) Then change your mind and set to x50, wait for refill;
3.2) Then think back to your total and change to x100, wait for refill;
4) Block the pathing so no new seeds can be added;
5) Switch to another asteroid for 25-50 cycles;
5.1) I have switched between `1 and `3 often, so you do you;
6) Starvation? Food aversion? Nier Automata sidequests catching up to pacu?
7) Dead pacu?

Edit_1: If i put 100 seeds, set feeder to 10, then reload - it seems pacu will only eat 10 and then starve from that point. Feeders don't seem to recognize they still have something left. Storage bins at least get that part right, they limit intake and let use the contents, even if it's more.
So then If I reload they are eating again. Maybe if I set the settings to match the contents, save and reload, it will work as intended, at least for a while? Then set a new one, load seeds, save and load? Surely it won't become tedious very quickly, right?
Edit_2: I've rebuilt the feeders and stocked them full. They took 200 of the seeds by default, I've also made sure the stacks were 200 each. Then it took 10 more, apparently putting them on the "spoon". Coincidentally after those 10 were eaten the pacu went starving.
Something is up with those 10, not getting a refill from storage.
Edit_3: Hooking up the conveyor receptacle with seeds and setting to 1-2 seems to be the current workaround. The spoon does not seem to hold more than 10 seeds. The spoon and storage don't seem to interact too much, so the auto-sweeper has to always put enough to fill the storage and then the spoon. Supposed to the spoon pulling food from storage on it's own.
Actually, if I uncheck all seeds to remove them from feeder, the spoon still has it's seeds. Yet if I set storage to 1, spoon will also have 1; if 10 then also 10, but 10+ will remain 10 on the spoon. Just to note it here.

User Feedback

I've noticed a lot of weirdness with the fish feeder as well. I think it's acting like the fish don't recognize that there's food on the spoon until more get added to the hopper. The inventory is split and they may be looking at the wrong part.

I had this issue too - several times already. I has something to do with the amounts in the fish feeder. Even with a seed feeder set to 200kg next to a storage bin with several tons of seeds in there and an autosweeper. There definitely something buggy going on but I wasn't able to force a replication.

I've been doing some testing and had success (not encountered the bug) setting the feeder to 1kg (algae or seeds) with 1 tame Pacu.  Having the feeder set to max seeds seems to cause the issue.  OTOH I was able to tame a Pacu with the feeder set to 10kg.

Unfortunately, the latest version of the game still has this problem. Please solve this problem, as I am experiencing a lot of problems due to a starving food source in 2 colonies.
