(This was recorded in the U58 beta branch, but it's not a regression from U57, so reporting it here.)
Duplicants prioritise getting out of, and not walking onto liquid-covered floors to the point of suffocation.
- When suffocating, dupes will not seek to reach breathable atmosphere above a liquid-covered floor.
- When on wet floor under breathable atmosphere, and low on oxygen, dupes will prioritise walking out of the liquid over gasping for air.
I'm guessing #1 is the result of some optimisation, but maybe the game should do a more exhaustive search if the dupe can't path to any dry floor with oxygen above? #2 seems just silly.
In the video I only managed to get these guys to gasp for air after making the right set of doors one-way.
Steps to Reproduce
- Put dupes in an area where they can only reach unbreathable atmosphere and a breathable atmoshere above a wet floor.
- Place them in the dry unbreathable area, see if they leg it to the breathable area before they suffocate.
- Decrease dupe's oxygen level to below the gasping threshold.
- Place the dupe in the wet breathable are, see if they catch their breath before trying to leave.
