Duplicant will starve to death while sleeping even though food is available

In the attached save, Max will go to sleep even though he's about to die from starvation and there is food available that he's able to eat. (He has only 13 calories left because I saved only at this point, but he had still enough to make it if he wasn't so suicidal.)
