I had a duplicant who was stuck permanently in eating state (the Calories tooltip in the Stats tab listed that as a one factor changing calories). As the duplicant's last food was also something far below its expectations (Measly Food modifier), the duplicant was permanently 100%-stressed as a result. I cannot provide a save, because saving and loading fixed the problem, but until I tried that it appeared as there was no solution to the problem (and the duplicant repeatedly vomited all over the place until I saved and quit).
Facts:
- The duplicant was in 'eating' state, as indicated by the Calories tooltip in the Stats tab.
- As it was poor food, the duplicant had extra +300 stress change because of the bad food modifier. This made the duplicant quickly reach 100% stress and vomit (which was the duplicant's stress response).
I'm not sure how that happened, but I think it might have been caused by the duplicant eating the poor food, reaching 100% stress because of it, and the vomiting as a stress reaction possibly interrupted the eating process incorrectly without resetting the state.
The save is attached, the duplicant is Mae, locked up to the left, but as I said, reloading avoided the problem.
