If a food storage is placed in a location with doors with access permissions limiting some duplicates from entering, sometimes the duplicants that are restricted from entering will insist unto death to eat the food in the storage locked by access restrictions. They will ignore all other food until either they starve to death or the path to the food they have decided they want becomes invalid (e.g., lock the door).
I have been able to reproduce the effect more than once with the setup described in the steps to reproduce.
My wild ass guess is that the duplicants are not considering custom access permissions on door for certain actions.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Place a ration box or fridge in a room with access through only one door. 2. Set the access to the door to only allow 1 duplicant to enter. 3. Set the restricted ration box or fridge to accept food and have the duplicant with access put food in it. 4. Wait until one of the duplicants that do not have access decide to eat the food in the restricted ration box or fridge, the timing on this is somewhat random and can take a while or happen immediately.
