I have a rotated mechanized airlock blocking a ladder. When I grant permissions for a dupe to move through the door to the right (or in this case, downward) they take it to mean the opposite, and vice-versa. I'm inferring right and left by the green light being on the top of the door.

rotate airlock, alter permissions, up (L) should mean down (R)
