Digging error

Same mistake with me

From what I see I have the same problem. The digging bar seems full but the action doesn't register and the dupe keeps on trying to finish it. So it looks just like the first picture by pspellegrini where the digging animation continues endlessly for Burt while the other dupes are still running around and doing whatever it is that dupes do.

I solve it by saving and reloading the game.

I was putting it on my computer pretending not to be powerful enough to run the game (out of this issue and without having played too much everything else has been running smoothly), but maybe there is something more to it...
