I have encounter a situation where critters become trapped next to a tile of liquid. Attached is a screenshot from my game. The Drecko in the petroleum was hatched from an egg that fell from the position the top Drecko is in, and there's 4 Pip/Cuddle Pips stuck on the central tile of the liquid lock.
I believe this was introduced with Fast Friends because the Cuddle Pips can actually escape this situation IF (and only IF) there's an egg nearby to cuddle. As soon as they get back on the tile they're trapped until another egg is in range.
Also the Top Drecko is mostly stuck, it will rarely decide to roam elsewhere. Bottom Drecko is completely stuck.
Have a single tile next to enough liquid to prevent pathing, It doesn't matter if it left or right oriented. I haven't checked vertical orientation.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
